Hey Alex, I just bought a lab2 to compliment my surround set up, what is the lowest setting you are talking about? 1 or 2 or 3?
-
Peter: Sharp eyes! I agree; I think they look like Beolab 3s on desk stands. These are wonderful computer speakers - I use a pair with my PowerMac. I totally agree, I had a pair with m iMac, absolutely love it.

I just tried that, I go into "other" and pick ipod remote, still can't control it with Beo4 or 5. I also have appletv with BV7 III
-
yeah it's the same appletv with software upgrade which allows users to rent video directly thru appletv without going to the computer. you can rent HD content aswell. but its only available to countries that allows users to purchase movies or tv series on itune. So sadly Australia is out of the equation. It will not come with a dvd drive, if you

I am more interested in the sound difference, have you noticed any major sound improvement in selecting 7.4? I found with my 7.2 that sometimes during dvd playback, the speech is hardly audible and if I turn up the volume, then the background noise, music/sound effects ect, becomes too loud.

I have exactly the same problem, B&O installer come over to install it, and he still can't figure out why appletv is not responding.

I got the latest Mk III, BV 7-40, I just spoken to my dealer today and he said the tv cannot decode HD broacast only SD, beoaus is right, and maybe next year at August B&O will bring out an update module. I am just really surprised that BV7 doesn't come with a HD decoder, as most if not all high-end tv does.

I can wait until tomorrow and ring up my dealer to confirm this, but I just found out that I can't watch any of the HD broadcast here in Australia. I mean, I sold my $3000 dollars Sony which plays HD for a $20000 TV and I can't receive HD broadcast? I seriously hope its only because I didn't set it up properly :(

The beo5 that comes with my BV 7 is still at my dealers for configuration, it has been two weeks, and still they can't give me the remote yet. Apparently they are having problem setting up Foxtel ( Australian Cable) icons. So I am still using Beo4 that comes with Beosound 4, so I have to continuously take the remote upstairs to use with the Cd player

Actually on the left hand side of the room are roller blinds not wall, its just the same color as the wall, but on the right hand side, I have 4 panels of sliding doors, all glass, I guess that would be bad in terms of sound reflection. Thanks :) I like the set up a lot and it definitely draws ohs and ahs from visiting friends ~
