  • Beovision 7-32 failure to recognise remotes

Quick question. We have a 7-32 which must now be 3-4 years old. In recent weeks it has started -on a fairly random basis - to not recognise our remotes. At this point nothing works. We can't change channels, change volume or even switch the TV off. We have to switch the TV off at the wall. When plugged back into the power socket the TV returns to

  • Re: Help: Apple TV to BV7-32 - no sound...

From recollection I had various problems with getting sound from my ATV to my BV 7-32. I ended up using AV4 but went down the YPbPr route for video connection and L/R cables for the audio. Works perfectly for music and films. I have something in the back of my mind that ATV will only allow audio via HDMI when HDMI is connected ? I think this is why

  • Beosound 5

I have no doubt this is common knowledge now. My dealer tells me this will be launched in the UK late November/ early December but won't be available to customers until early next year .

  • Re: APPLE TV

Re handbrake I have been using the Apple TV preset. It seems ok for picture quality. I wasn't a 100% sure whether it handled the surround sound on "King Kong" well when I tested it last night. The problem is that I have a BV 7-32 and since I am playing music it is connected to the Apple TV using L/R connections rather than digital. If

Following previous discussions in the forum I invested in Apple TV perhaps a month back. Great gadget and it strikes me probably one of the best front ends for stored multimedia content currently on the market. Initially I intended using this for music and spent a couple of exciting weeks ripping about 700 CD's onto the system. Who says accountants

  • Re: BV7 32 Any Known Issues

Ignoring the fact that I believe a new model may be on its way the major issues with BV 7-32 are: i) Lack of HDMI and only one DVI. This means that you will need to feed audio in through the digital inputs (but see below). Clearly also as highlighted above you may need something like the Gefen product to allow more than one source to be connected to

I've just connected my A-TV to the beovision 7-32. Leads are component video and audio and as a backup in frustration HDMI-DVI. With component connection I get no picture and no audio on V-AUX. I've specified component as the HD video connection in the BV 7-32. If I change the settings to DVI and connect the HDMI to A-TV I get video. Unfortunately

  • Re: Linn sneaky music ds

Assuming I get the software update on the BV7-32 to allow control of the apple tv by Beo4 is it possible to access the video/ audio in link rooms ? Does this involve connection by component cables rather than DVI ?

  • Linn sneaky music ds

Just took a look at this product and was very impressed - though the name could be better ! It allows streaming of music to other rooms from a networked computer/ harddisk but with audiophile quality. The unit can then be directly connected to speakers or pass the signal to say a power amp. Price approx £1,000 I had been thinking of getting Apple
