Hi, I installed a pair of the 6000 wall brackets for a client recently and I had mixed feelings about them. Plus: They look GREAT and are really nicely made in solid aluminium. The Lab 6000's look very good on the wall! Minus: Cost nearly £200 UK (Ouch!), also the speakers can't be rotated on the brackets, so they are fixed parallel to

Hi, in my view the S35 were nice speakers, but not really something to spend good money on now, unless you really like the looks. Why not take a look at the newer RedLine 60 / RL6000, I picked up a mint pair on eBay recently for around £40 and they sound far better than S35's IMHO. Steve.

joeyboygolf: Mr10Percent: Not sure about that. If you send your mum's best cut-glass crystal, insurance may be a problem. If you sent a TV (especially a CRT), it is a TV and it does contain glass but you are insuring a TV. 10% I've asked them all and they will not cover any thing with glass in it or on it. This applies to TV's of any type

Hi, I also make a full RIAA pre-amp kit with Beogram to B&O adapter cables, which uses a mains powered Vivanco RIAA amplifier. I've used this on my own Beograms and it gives a good sound quality and is very reliable. Available in my shop on eBay UK or from Lee at Lifestyle AV. Regards, Steve.

Hi Muhl, Here is a cable that will do what you need:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110285863270&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=001 Just switch your Beolab 8000's to "Line" and (very important!) turn down the MP3 player volume first! Steve.

Hi Rasmus, If you look on eBay, you will see that there are now several other brands of cable available that are compatible with Powerlink mark 3, other than B&O and Bosscomm. Best regards, Steve.

Hi everyone, just to let you know that I've got a couple more of these shelves available now, as I needed an extra one, so I had to go through the whole "order a batch to get one more" process again. (Maybe I shouldn't have sold ALL of the spare ones last time?) Hence, I have the rest of the batch on eBay now. If anyone is interested

Hi everyone, Thanks for all the advice and comments. I was pleased that the whole batch of turntable shelves I had made sold quickly on ebay (I needed a few for my own collection of Beograms, but had to make extras to meet the minimum order for my local metalwork shop). I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in a Beogram wall shelf, as I

Hi Kevin, Yes, I've just listed the last few on ebay (UK) this morning. I've tried to price them fairly low, as I just need to cover my costs in having them made. Any questions, please get in touch. Steve.

Pete, I recently bought a cartridge from an ebay seller who claimed to have put a tag on the cartridge (to prevent "fraudulent return claims"). When pressed on the matter, he said that this was on the back face that mates with the tonearm, in the form of a tiny mark, only visible under a microscope. This may be the sort of thing you have encountered
