Hi there - yes, I think I was trying to press GO too quickly - sometimes the marker flashes up, I press GO and then it flashes again and I press GO again and it resumes. I think I was probably not waiting long enough or pressing it twice - anyway, all working again thanks.

I knew how to do this and now can't find the manual - basically when I have a disk in my DVD1 and I stop watching it, the player then asks if I want to resume with a little symbol the next time it is switched on - I pressed go but nothing happens - tried GO twice but it still ghoes to the start of the disk - does anyone know how to resume where

I can only add that I thought wireless was great, until, I got a new home hub and it has to be switched off when not being used as it intereferes with the wireless central heating control and my flat freezes - computer is now hardwired in as that intereferes too. And the home hub intereferes and causes crackle on the phone line - it's not my beocom

Yes, I got just excited the first time I was able to control my BC7700 from the Kitchen - now I have everything linked and it's one of the reasons why I stay brand loyal. It's so much easier having the same remote in the link rooms and having access to everything. I know that nowadays there is wifi and streaming and all sorts of clever stuff

Thanks for the replies - I had thought about using teh camera socket but the system dock looks like it connects via scart and presumably this works all around the house? I have been able to disable the internal video and use the socket in the past by going into the engineer menu and selecting the variant as being without a VCR, but this reassigns the

Hi - I have an AVANT RF VCR and the two scart sockets are used for DVD1 and SKY - if I get the iPod System dock so I need an AV2 expander or will it simply not work. I can disable the internal VCR and use that socket if not. Has anyone any experience of using the dock with an Avant?

I got one with my Avant and am more than happy with it - picture quality is excellent and it always works - I can play recorded DVDs on it from a Panasonic machine. This player also has a resume feature which is great when your watching a series on DVD as you can pick up where you left off. I would say it is much better than the cheap Philips one I

I had a similar setup and initially had no sound from the left hand channel - it turned out to be the lead connecting the BC9500 to the Beolink Converter. I would check that as it sounds like the converter is working since it is recognising commands and relaying them between your Avant and BC. I've also had a Beolink Converter that stopped working
