  • Falling on my sword

As a strong Apple non-fanboy, I must give props to whomever created the program between BeoPort and Mac. Yesterday, I did my second Apple/BeoPort install, and I was pretty nervous (never having used Apple). I can install a BeoPort correctly on PC in about 20 minutes. I installed BeoPort on Mac in about 4 minutes, if you count starting the machine up

  • Re: What is the latest on BV7?

Here is a nice article that describes the North/Central America version of BeoVision 7. http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/BangOlufsenBeoVision7-40Review.htm

  • Re: beoworld logo

XXX XXX, internationally known for their corporate design, sold very similar looking corporate graphics to a Scandinavian and a Thai oil company. Imagine the surprise of the Scandinavian management when they arrived in Thailand for a conference and saw numerous gas stations that looked uncomfortably similar to their own - and imagine their fury when

  • Re: beoworld logo

The idea that the logo is the most pressing concern regarding the state of BeoWorld and the work the principals have done is refreshing. Congratulations on a job extraordinarily well done.

  • Re: Men's Vogue article on BeoVision 7

We had BeoVision 7 for our grand opening last week and placed 8000s next to it for the unveiling. Absolutely stunning, but I assume everyone outside North America already knew that. Full HD, BeoSystem 3 (integrated, not a box), Wonderful performance, though I would never presume to say one picture is better than another. The next day, the team was a

  • Re: B&O Sound now in Audi Q7

A salient comment about cheapening the brand. Caused me do a google search and I found the following regarding Rolex. I certainly respect that brand and product. While there is an even higher mark in watches, and a 20 whatever will keep better time (my very moderate Breitling offers "estimated time"), it is a benchmark for quality and prestige

  • Re: Music from my PC...

With BeoPort you can use your Beo4 to control the music on your hard drive and internet radio via the sensor on your BV7. $500 US and some masterlink. I think it is a great Bang & Olufsen value. I rip MP3s at 192 encoded with LAME with outstanding results. I have over 100 CDs on my laptop. BeoMedia stores all your music and digital pictures on its

  • Re: New MP3 player

By flash memory, I intended to say via SD card. I agree that memory should be transportable. 32g on a flash card this year is good stuff.

  • Re: New MP3 player

Flash memory is already on the market at 8g and testing at 32g. Prediction: Hard drives on portable devices will be a thing of the past in 5 years. Unless, of course, you want your customers' machine to break every year or so.
