As they say. If it isn't broke don't fix it.

Wink  Psst!  Hey, buddy!  Ya, you!  If you can't tell the difference between the logos, come over into this dark alley.  I want to show you these ten A-8 earphones clipped to the inside of my Burberry trench coat.  I can give you a real good deal.  They're authentic B&O from China.  Trust me, I'm a lawyer. Big SmileLaughing

XXX XXX, internationally known for their corporate design, sold very similar looking corporate graphics to a Scandinavian and a Thai oil company. Imagine the surprise of the Scandinavian management when they arrived in Thailand for a conference and saw numerous gas stations that looked uncomfortably similar to their own - and imagine their fury when they found out the same design company was behind both profiles. Devil

(Yes, I'm protecting the guilty above).

In the case of the Healthcare Commission logo I think it's a result of identical thought processes in "erasing" sections of the circles within circles. Wouldn't worry if I was Lee.

IMHO, leave it that way, that's just fine.

I worked for a multinational company that had the similar thing happen.  The two have very similar names, but not similar business interests. What the consultant might not have anticipated was a shared US geography.  Wonder if the high-paid, international, corporate branding company is the same, or is that just the state of creativity these days?

This seems to be a really popular idea for a logo : ) I posted this one from Seagate a while back on the old forum, when i saw it on a portable disc drive. I assumed they used it for their portable drive series, but it's actually their company logo ( too ).

     seagate logo

I still agree you shouldn't change it, especially when it costs so much. You more than make up for it with those prize draws ; )

Perhaps it's a Da Vinci like code where various companies are fronts for a Priory of Sion like shadowy uber organisation whose members encode secret messages using a system of broken, concentric circles???Surprise

Perhaps we are unwittingly funding an ancient brotherhood, out to discredit all that we hold dear??Indifferent

    Or am I being paranoid??Huh?

Well...  it's a brotherhood of sorts (along with the odd sister)

However, if it's some kind of Da Vinci code - i'd be happy to sell the rights to the book and film in order to fund the Prize Draw and pay the loans off.. Laughing

Beovision 9 for 1st Prize anyone?!!!
