Not sure - i'm just fishing for info. I was hoping for an internal to BV7 option (i loved the integration of the avant!)

On the beovision 10-46 thread there is a comment regarding the potential addition of a hard disk to Beosystem 3 based televisions. I'm on the buying research as SWMBO has ok'd a TV purchase for my birthday. I was looking at BV 7-32 but the in built blue ray and potential hard disk (i'm assuming recorder) would swing me towards a BV7-40.

Well I have to say that nothing is stopping me buying B&O - apart from my wish to get the value out of current crop (Avant 28", BV1 LS, BS4, BeoLab 6000's). That said I am planning to replace my Avant with a BV7 / BV10 to replace it as a 40th birthday splurge/present. Yes the technology is moving at a sharp pace (LCD/OLED/3D) but for me

The lack of a used base here (i'm in Melbourne) is a bit of a limiter. Ebay Aus doesn't carry a great deal of interest - and as voiced before the overseas Ebay purchases always have a large postage/shipping (there not a lot of light B&O). The benefit of a shopfront would be obvious but costly to setup. I'd definitely be interested in

Formal BeoCare response - "We have to inform you that at the moment we do not have an upgrade for DAB+. But this has been reported to our development department, and they are looking into possibilities, but we cannot say whether there will be an upgrade in the future." So never say never, but i'm not going to hold my breath...

So is the 7-32 version with HDMI in the stores yet ? Anyone got comments on the screen - any improvements over the previous version ?

For convienience I have my 40GB of CD's imported onto the iMac and played through BeoPort. The only hassle is to remember to set the sound output on the iMac correctly, and music selection (unless I'm happy with a random) requires a visit to the computer. For me the Apple TV isn't an option as I have an Avant - no HDMI or component ! As

If thats the case then i guess B&O Australia will not be advertsing the DAB option for the BS4 as it won't work (part of the 'not available in all markets' caveat I guess).

Seeing that Melbourne has now launched DAB + (11 May) I was wondering if anyone has managed to confirm whether the DAB module in the BS4 can be removed & replaced with a DAB + one (or a software upgrade) ? Since there's limited stations there's no rush to get it swapped - but I was happy with the DAB test signals last year, so am looking

Waiting here for more news ... the 7-40 is too big for the room, but wanted DVB-HD built in.. Bathroom renovation about to start but still hoping against hope (& SWMBO) for one when its out - for my Mk 1 28" Avant its almost time to step aside ( i wish B&O Aus would re-run their CRT trade in that they had on at the end of last year - damn
