There will be a PUC controller of course.

The others are something which we'll only really know about when it arrives.

Waiting here for more news ... the 7-40 is too big for the room, but wanted DVB-HD built in..

Bathroom renovation about to start but still hoping against hope (& SWMBO) for one when its out - for my Mk 1 28" Avant its almost time to step aside ( i wish B&O Aus would re-run their CRT trade in that they had on at the end of last year - damn offers are never at the right time).

Same to me ... BV 7-40 is  too big and my momentary BV8-32 has no Dolby Surround, no PUC, no motor stand etc..

The picture and sound quality of the BV8-32 is extraordinary, perfect job - but the design is not easy to get used to , simply not a classic B&O design like a BV7.

I'm missing all the other features of a BV7 , so my decision tends to change the level. Unsure

I can't wait such a long time  - I have to HDMI cables and only one port Sad!

Go and have a chat with Tony @ the Armadale store.  He might be able to help :)

If he cant trade, he might be able to place your Avant in the shop for you and interested buyers can contact you direct...

So is the 7-32 version with HDMI in the stores yet ? Anyone got comments on the screen - any improvements over the previous version ?

    Re: Beovision 7-32 MK V

    Hi All,

    I have a BV7-32 mark I, and I am currently torn between:

    1) Upgrade my current set with HD-Ready kit and HD-DVB

    2) Try and trade in my current mark I and buy a new mark V

Can anybody list the advantages/new features of the mark V over the mark I?

I have heard that the HD-DVB signal will be scaled down to SVHS due to the internal cabling of the mark I - and thus be lower quality than an external box. Is that correct?

    Thanx!

HeKoch, you can easily buy an HDMI expander box...
