Hi Andy If you go into the service menu - setup 00 go then go to the chassis menu and change VCR to none, you will then be able to assign a name to the input in the connections menu and plug in another source to the scart.

I was under the impression that the BS3 analysed the incoming signal then if needed scaled the signal to the output resolution as the BS3 is a scaler is it not.

Hi Trip I agree mostly with your last post but I think the problem is that B&O go in half arsed & apple do not so you cannot draw a comparison, If you are going to be a premium brand then do not just charge a premium price deliver premium quality solutions. This is where they could learn from apple.

At a component level I am sure that the drives are pretty similar as the only real difference is the laser length blue as opposed to red and they are also now starting to put slot load drives into PC's so the not enough room argument has no room for excuses Both Blu-ray and HD-DVD use the same kind of 405 nanometer wavelength blue-violet laser.
