well, from B&O, they don't recommend RAM card over 2GB, even for beosound 4 which supports 4GB cards. First of all, for music only, if you buy fast memory, it is totally a waste. Over 2GB will lead to much slower accessing speed. Also, above speed may need to update the hardware/software, there are some technical problems. I guess 2GB is enough

well... we all love beosound 1. okay, so if possible, I will buy beosound 1. Although I feel serene is very elegent and beautiful and stylish.

it seems that the comparison is not that unfair. Dear all, I feel the sound quality of beosound 3 in mp3 area is not satisfactory. I have tried to use 224 highest VBR or even mp3 320kbps, both encoded by itunes.
