This sounds good, BUT: Is it possible to control Apple-TV (or any Mac using the Apple Remote) DIRECTLY with the Beo 5 without having to use STB or s.th. else? If you need a TV with this option to control it via Beo 5 it's not that comfortable. And how do they control the Playstation 3? The Playstation uses Bluetooth and NOT Infrared for its remote

wonderfulelectric: Ermm.... 2 to 3% of distortion is perfectly normal, especially in the bass region. You really have to know the frequency as which the distortion is stated. Usually, larger surface area of the bass driver, the less the distortion and vice versa for treble. And of course, the BeoLab 6000 has a high level of distortion in the bass but

Hi, I explored s.th. interesting or strange: If you look at the specifications of the Beosound 3 on the B&O Website, you see that it should be capable of reproducing a sound frequency range fom 20Hz-20kHz. Today I had a look into the servicemanual of the BS3 and was a little shocked after reading the "real" specs: It's only 20Hz-15kHz

Hi, I have exactly the same setup at home: - Beosound 3000 - Beolab 6000 - non B&O active Sub I have a DIN->RCA-cable-adapter from one of the Beolab 6000 to the active sub and it works! I bought the cable from my local dealer. BUT: There will be no frequency filtering which means that the Beolabs still have to play the complete bass spectrum

perhaps it will be s.th. like this? http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/home-entertainment/lg-chocolate-ht972tr-home-theater-system-looks-like-an-overgrown-cellphone-307658.php

Hello and welcome to the forum. I personally would choose the Beosound 3200. It is that lovely classical design with the real Bang & Olufsen Quality! The Beosound 4 seems to be a typcial modern product with typical erros and so on. Beosound 3200 still looks great and decent and in terms of quality you should realy go with that one! I have a Beosound

Peter: The three keys at the bottom of the screen are not back lit, but the rest are. Perfectly satisfactory. Thank you! Very good news and the pictures are awesome! :) As some of you seem to already have seen (oh oh, my english!?) the software in action: Does andybody know how to control 3rd party stuff? For example: - Sony/Panasonic/JVC/Kenwood/Denon

Do I see that right that the keys of the Beo 5 are backlit? :-) I testet one in a shop at this weekend and it didn't had any light on the buttons?! @eduard and mr. anders ...: Do you have the software on your own to "play" with and check configurations out?

Hi, as I would never use the headphone out of the Beosound 3, I'm asking myself if it would be possible to mod the Beosound 3 to transform the headphones out into an audio-in-port (e.g. for connecting an iPod or any other external source)? Does anybody have the servicemanual of the Beosound 3 to have a look at the innards? :-) Thanks
