Beosound 3: Possible modding for audio-in? Does anybody have Servicemanual?

    Hi,

as I would never use the headphone out of the Beosound 3, I'm asking myself if it would be possible to mod the Beosound 3 to transform the headphones out into an audio-in-port (e.g. for connecting an iPod or any other external source)?

Does anybody have the servicemanual of the Beosound 3 to have a look at the innards? :-)

    Thanks

Hi, don't know about a modification, but what about using FM transmitter,
(like the one that are used to connect iPod to products without input-socket,)
you could then tune the BS3 to that frequency

That is exactly what I do, same FM transmitter too... works pretty well. I can have the ipod at hand and change tracks. I use this at the beach mostly. Works like a charm.
