beodim: What I don't particularly like is that the motorised table stand of BC6-26 has a quite big hole right under the bottom edge of the TV set (probably to attach another speaker like BL7-1), which is very visible. If you decide to go for BC6-26 I would recommend you to take a dark grey version (this is the one I have and it has a very decent

Also, although the BV8 is a more interesting design, and better quality than - say - a Sony Bravia, it's nowhere near as good quality - picture or build - as the BeoCenter 6. The way I think of it is that the BV8 is twice the price of the Sony but only 50% better, whereas the BC6 is 3 times the price of the Sony but is maybe 310% better! The BV8

Philippe: Greg: Thanks guys. I think I already made the decision ;-) Finally, one really simple basic question I should probably know the answer to, but don't. If you're watching a DVD which has say dts surround audio, and of course you want to experience that surround on your beolabs via the surround module, how to do connect the DVD player

j0hnbarker: You're spot on there Chris about the integration of products made in different decades. Here's a photo of my set-up (hopefully I have worked out how to post photos!). I love the way that none of these products were contemporaneous in the B&O product line, yet they look so fantastic together! I agree. That's a really nice

Update - I just went and measured and it's about 2.5m from sofa to the low unit I plan to put the TV on. So I'm thinking the 26 is big enough! G.

Thanks guys. I think I already made the decision ;-) I'd also looked at the Sony bravia w2000 32", which has 1080 (full HD) resolution but its picture wasn't as good, strangely. And of course is a much cheaper, very plastic-looking TV. But some more questions! I guess the BC6-26 will support HD at 720p? I don't yet have Sky HD (but

Well, I went into the dealer to take a look at the BV8. Initially, I didn't like this TV at all when I saw the pictures. The 'shelf' is interesting, though, and the look of it is totally different to anything else, which appealed to me. So, I go in and have a look. Firstly, it looks every bit as unusual in reality as in the pictures, and

Stan: britops: Tried AppleCare ? or Apple Genius bar ? My experience with the "Genius" bar is that the so called geniuses tend to be mostly geniuses in their own mind. I may give AppleCare a whirl, but haven't ever had much luck with other company's tech support. I will try other's suggestions... thanks for the help. Stan Firstly

paddy2042: How did you get your contacts from Mac Addressbook through Bluetooth to your Serene? Well, because I only had a few contacts that weren't already on the Beocom system, I copied them individually via Bluetooth directly from the Address Book application. (select the contact and choose 'send card' once you've paired your phone

Toubro: I have some questions for all you Serene owners. 1. How long operation time does it have on a full battery?? 2. Can the contacts and calender entries be updated over BlueTooth with Outlook?? 3. How much information can be stored under one profile?? e.g. is it possible to store multiple telephone numbers, address, e-mail, birthday and other stuff
