  • Wall Holder A/V

I have an old B&O phone Wall Holder with A/V volume controls that I use as a remote for volume from my kitchen. I cannot work out what phone it used to fit but I find it very useful. It seems to have gone dead and I'm wondering if it has a battery inside. I presume it does but cannot find the compartment. Is anyone able to shed light on this

I have a PSTN Beocom 6000 and am looking at buying another. Can I put a DECT handset and charger on a PSTN basestation? Is Beoline and basestation the same thing? paddy

BeoLink Wireless <> ML Cable <> BeoLink Video <> 7-pin DataLink Cable <> BeoLink Converter <> ML Cable <> Avant Does this mean to connect the Wirless with a Masterlink to the Avant? What is a 7 pin datalink cable and a Beolink converter? Thanks paddy

  • Re: Link Room speaker problem

I thought this was going to work but alas... The Avant is not connected to the master system in the link room and I'm not sure if this has any effect on the overall operation. I think this is why one will not turn off when the other is turned on. I have been told that the Avant will not accept a Masterlink joining it to the Wireless (which would

  • Link Room speaker problem

I have a B&O system in the living room with a Wireless setup to a study. This works fine with a pair of BL4000 speakers. I have an Avant in this room as well using only it's own speakers. The problem is that when I turn on the TV with Beo4 the speakers connected to the wireless come on as well with sound coming from the main system. So I end

  • Re: New Music system

If you use a Mac mini you can edit delete etc directly on the machine itself as well as create playlists etc. You can back up to an external drive or DVD as I do. I think a much simpler solution.

  • Re: BV8-40 screen saver

The screen saver seems to be on the BC2 as it comes on when I have pressed stop twice on the Beo4. The DVD picture goes off and after a short period of time (a couple of minuts) the screen saver comes on and bounces around the sceen until the BC2 turns itself off. Immediately the BC2 turns off the screen saver disappears. Anyone any info? paddy

I use a mac mini and an ATV and the mini has many advantages over the ATV. What annoys me about the ATV is that ityou have to have two copies of everything, as what is on the ATV is also stored on the syncing computer. This seems to me such a waste of space. The mini with an Elgato EyeTV tuner allows you to capture anything on TV (or FM radio if you

  • BV8-40 screen saver

I have a BV8-40 connectd to a BC2 and recently had the technician in to look over the gear which has several problems which I will go into at another time. Connected to the BV8 is a Mac mini used as a media centre. After the visit I noticed that I now have this floating screen saver which is maroon and white and seems to be a stylized mp3 logo. This
