  • Re: BM-Link now available for Snow Leopard

It shouldn't be, it's the same firmware that's been on the disk image for the last couple of releases /A

I'm pretty sure perfect is a bit too good of a review, beta testers have reported that the application still locks up every now and then, but at least it works to some extent :)

  • BM-Link now available for Snow Leopard

Hi Better late than never is a phrase users of BM-Link should be way too familiar with by now. Anyway... a new version is available for download at the usual place: www.odlund.se/bmlink/download.html /Anders

  • Paging BM-Link users in the San Francisco Area

Hello As many of you are aware, there haven't been many updates to the BM-Link software in a long time. The main reason for this is that I've moved from Sweden to California, and all my B&O equipment are still back in Sweden, so I have a hard time testing the software with new versions of iTunes and Mac OS X, thus it's lacking behind

  • Re: BM-Link and iTunes problem/question

Guess I should be able to answer some of those questions :) BM-Link reads the XML file. As far as I know iTunes uses the binary file for it's own operations, but keeps the XML file available for other applications to use. The communication with iTunes is done via a compiled AppleScript included in the application bundle, and that one is not accessible

  • Re: BM-Link and Timer Programming

Not sure how to do it on the BeoCenter 2, when I wrote that documentation, I had the menu system of the MX8000 in mind, since that was the TV I used as a master in my system. And it had a "program" option.

  • Re: Accessing BM-Link scripts, and use of new version (1.5.2)

The Script Controlling Front Row is available in source code format, inside the application bundle, which in turn is inside the Preference Pane Bundle The N.MUSIC and N.RADIO scripts are only available in binary format, so unless you somehow manage to decompile those you are out of luck. /Anders

  • Re: Leopard and BM-Link 1.5

Can anyone test how it works with the new iTunes 7.5 and report back here? BM-Link check the version of iTunes in order to handle some differences between versions, and it seems like the scripts only handle version numbers with a single decimal (the string "7.5" can be converted to a number, but "7.3.2" can't) (Still in the US

  • Re: Leopard and BM-Link 1.5

Lely: It works fine. Installed Leopard last night, everything worked. Maarten Great news! Logged in here to check if anyone had tested it yet, since I'm currently in the US, and the development machine for BM-Link is stowed away in a storage room back home in Sweden :)
