If the quality control from B&O was bad I can assure this forum wouldn't exist and B&O wouldn't be the company it is today. Of course though if your dealer is selling questionable products you certainately should not settle for it. When buying a B&O you should receive the best and you need to take it up with your dealer or contact

I have to agree and say that I find your experience very suprising to say the least. Also I have to question the reason behind your post? It doesn't sound like you wanted the Beosound 1 in the first place? As the obvious reaction would be to ask first if other people have experienced the same problem, what are peoples thoughts on the Beosound 1

I've got the service manual but i've never seen or heard of anyone having the user manual! Its like no one has it!!

Oooohhh!!! I'd love a copy for the Beomaster 1900 as well!!! (I hope thats o.k. as I'm not a gold member yet)

I had the same problem when I replaced the glass on my Beomaster 3500, some wouldn't work. When you put the glass with the plastic frame back on the sensor board it slides to one side. The sensors then bend and don't stand up straight. This is fine, they are supposed to do this. If you take something and straighten them they don't work.

I think its a very good idea. Joined straight away! They might have the Beomaster 4401on the list, but I didn't see the Beomaster 2300!!

Thanks for the pics!! Glad to see that the Beomaster 1900 is there! I love them, I own a couple. Must have been very interesting not only for the B&O section.

That is VERY interesting!! I wonder who will be his successor? I think its a good thing! I'm not too pleased with his latest offerings

I actually posted this on the General Forum first. My brother dropped one of my Beovox 5700 speakers hence why the tweeter doesn't work. There was no sound at all from it so i unscrewed it from the speaker box and checked the wires, no sound. I then (probably not the best idea ) bumped it about around the sides and underneath and i got sound, but
