If the new amplifier has a volume control, you should be able to just connect the "aux out" from the beomaster 7000 to the new amplifier.

Thanks guys. Stefan the 5v turn on would be a nice touch, but since these are class A they need to warm up for a bit before I you'll get the best sound out of them, though I have yet to find out how audbile the difference actually is...

Hey everyone, I'm preparing to build a diy amplifier, and will be using my beomaster 6500 as the preamp, and connecting the Aux out to the power amplifier. Can anyone tell me though if there's any gain on the Aux out, or at full volume are you merely getting full line level? And is the powerlink output gain (or lack of) the same as the Aux out

Heh, love the way you guys talk - "absolutely sportin"

My first move would be to open the covers and put the components next to a dehumidifier. There's a good chance they're salvagable. Water is not the simple killer of electronics many fear it is. Pure water is a relatively poor conductor, and the voltages found in the system typically aren't high enough to conduct through the water and cause

Did you know the songs on Guitar Hero 3 are actually better than CD quality since the BluRay space allows for uncompressed PCM
