Beogram 6500 (or any stacking) rubber feet on bottom?

    Hey crowd,

I've just acquired a beautiful beogram 6500, but it's missing the rubber feet underneath.  It looks as if there are two raised sections on one side where they fell off/out but I don't see the matching spots on the other side where 2 more would go.  And it looks as if they are round instead of the semicircular ones on the other components?  I've looked at the service manual but that doesn't give much help.  Are they still an in-stock item from B&O?  Or should I just try to find adhesive ones the same height?

    Thanks as always,
    Austin

Don't think they are a still an in-stock item. I have a Beogram 3000 for spares. The 3000 shared parts with the 5500/6500/7000 record player IIRC and maybe the rubber feet were the same. I will have a look later this weekend and let you know.

I didn't want to flip my 6500 upside down to take a pic, but the feet are round and rather small - perhaps 10 mm in diameter and only about 2 mm in height. They are very near the corners of the bottom plate and probably snap into round holes.

They seem like hard plastic rather than rubber, or perhaps they just turn that way in 20 years...

I think I would just try the kind of adhesive felt pads that go on the feet of furniture. The thickness is about right and they're not going to mark the surface under them, like some kinds of rubber do.

I prefer these also, better then the original plastic/rubber scratchers (feets).

Ok, thanks guys.  Do you replace all the feet on the components with the felt ones?
