trip was joking in his original post prob a tad subtle , but there ya go
-
couldn't agree more my avant is STILL staggeringly amazing 7 years later ! as for loewe , i sent one back after 2 days UTTER UTTER **** compared to bno they copy bno's designs ( badly ) but have none of their original ideas at all
-
i agree they need to do an os-x not a windoze cludge clean break to the future !!!
-
loewe are a sony with bits of plastic stuck on no way are they in the same league as bno
-
looks like he could be just the ticket it's not what you put out it's what you hold back that matters ask steve jobs bno a few years ago seemed to have their finger in every pie imaginable and sadly didn't really have anything particularly impressive in any of them less is more etc etc
-
wait for apple's itablet / ipad , hat will wipe the floor with any of the bno toys
-
a lot of it is that bno don't fit into their hidden flat earth agenda tbh a lot of the twaddle hi-fi mags come out with is pure 'the king is in the all together' dross external power mains and scratching lines on your plugs , adding plastic green tabs and putting everything on marble to improve the sound crazy

i read and assumed that the clouding would be gone with led backlighting as it's usually caused by the fluorescent backlights used in early lcd's my bravia supposedly has this , but i can't say i've ever noticed it not being in the habit of watching a blank screen too often..
-
it's probably designed to go against a wall so as to reinforce the speaker sound out in free space i'm not surprised it sounds thin
-
i'm still waiting for the new avant i know it took the crt 50+ years to evolve into what that became , but you'd think at the progress of technology we'd be able to come up with something more impressive than the bv10 it doesn't even have a built in source
