With your left hand and 2 fingers, grab the TT arm (the one with the MMC) and hold it steady, with the other hand (right hand) and 2 fingers, grab the MMC and gently wiggle the MMC until it comes lose, then pull it straight out without bending the pegs. If you are lefthanded inverse the hands With a multimeter
I wouldn't remove it simply to clean dust off - use a stylus brush. These cartridges are prone to losing coil contact with the pins if they are removed too often. If you really need to remove it then yes - a gentle pull should be all that is required. Chris.
thanks. glad to see your still going strong

  • mmc4 removal and way to test

hi can anyone help with the removal process of the mmc4 cartridge? i guess its a gentle tug and it will be free from the arm, or is it? my stylus sounds like its permanently got dust on it, this i guess is a sure fire tell tale sign of a worn stylus tip. any ideas....... cheers jason
I am very happy with my Ipad. It's without any doubt the best gadget I received over the past year. Yet why can you not replace its battery? Countless updates will make this unnecessary I'am afraid. I do not believe B&O needs an introduction on repair service here. So let's not compare apples and peers
