Did not expect that the black lines on the platter are more than just a decoration. But thinking twice - this makes sense. Great ! I used a ultrasonic cleaner to clean the very dirty platter (8002 bought on ebay). The result was fatal. All the black lines (and parts of the white one too) went off and unremovable white spots appeared. the result is that the 8002 cannot find anymore the beginning of the vinyl-record.
