  • Re: The unique, one and only SOFTWARE UPDATE THREAD!

Hi Ehlerz I don't think it's because of the distance (unless you have a villa with more than 50m distance). By how much should then the Video (and audio) be delayed in your opinion (BTW, it takes a lot of memory and processor to delay a full hd picture)? You mean it should delay the same as it does for the audio on ML. But then as I described

[quote user="Ehlerz"] Hi Richu and everyone else Theese are my experiences so far. Linkroom audio from Mainroom DTV and Mac Mini hooked up with sp/diff and DVI- HDMI no longer eccoes. Linkroom Video from Mainroom DTV or DVD/BD still eccoes in linkrooms. This should in my opinion also be fixed as this was never an issue on my 4 year old BV

Interesting! - What source you are listening/watching? Is ist TV analog oder DTV (both internal tuner) or is it connected on a HDMI? - What do you mean by coaxial? Link-TV? In this case, i think this must be in that way. Because every display has it's own delay. The BV7-40 MK IV has 200ms. Another display has another delay. If you would delay for

  • Re: Sound from digital in to Link rooms delayed ?

Hi all This is a known issue. see here: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/29303.aspx (german, my story) or here: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/31741.aspx feb 1st (my post) If your external devices have apart of the HDMI output also another analog output (ie chinch), the resolution is described above. BTW: if you 'only' listen to music

  • Re: AST question, opinions

I think, those additional BL4000 would help anything. Your setup with the sofa and all other loudspeakers looks good. BTW. I just configured AST on my BV7-40 (with 2xBL6000, BL7-4, 2xBL4). For the TV profile, I disabled AST because AST doesn't support Dolby Digital 5.1 Input to pure Dolby Digital 5.1 output (it will use a Dolby + PLIIx Movie). Your

  • Re: BV7-40 - Noisy Fans

Hi Ehlerz, can you confirm, that 8.02 resolves the issue with the high fan speed? Have you installed it on your 7-40 MK IV (and have you had 7.05 previousely)? I will call my dealer, when multiple 7-40 owners confirm, that it has been resolved and no other major bugs have been introduced.

Cold comfort, but some hope. You might want to subscribe to the below thread. It seems you have SW 7.0.5 which should be updated (hopefully). http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/31193/251349.aspx#251349

  • Re: Beovision 7-40 and speakers

You might want to talk to your dealer who proposed this solution. Having wonderful BL3 and buying another BL 7-2 stereo speakers doesn't really make sense. You might want to change the BL 7-2 to 7-4 and then using the BL3 as front left/right (again). I have BL4 as surround. Yes, not really high capacity speakers. But for our room they fit perfect
