thank you i manged to fix the problem, i selected a different box in the stb menu and all working perfectly fine, i spoke to a b&o enginner who advise that he always has problems with amstrad boxes and to use either a thomson or pace stb software.

hi i also have just got the new sky 1tb box and stuck mine to the left of the logo whihc seems to works. Please advise what software you are using from your list in the stb, I have used the thomson one which all works apart from when entering your pin code iinto the control for the movies the tv turns of whci i dont now whats wrong

I crack it, I went on the sky web site and tried all of the codes listed but none would work, then after a lot of patientence found code 0593 will adjust the tv turn the tv, but unfortunatly will not turn the tv on. So all is all that ok and the kids just have to use the be05 to turn the tv on then they can use the sky remote without me getting worried

Hi im still new here so please bear with me, I have a BV8 tv which I just installed a new 1tb sky hd box yesterday. This is all controlled via my beo4 remote but would anyone have a mapping list they could let me have to train the kids and I. In addtion would it be possible to use the sky remote to control the volume on the tv set? and how easy is this

Hi quick question, when you hold down the standby and press the centre button you are lead into setup menu, if you go into setting and click restore, then yes this just bounces back? I thought this would wipe the dealers configuration and load all defaults? Regards

Thank you, I have just ordered sky hd and have to go with an external box, but I managed to pick up the beo8-40 cabinet so this will now be out of site. I just now have to get my beo4 & beo5 programmed would anyone have a mapping chart? Regards

Hi I have recently purchased a bv8-40 and over the moon with it, the picture quality is excellent, however the most thing i miss is not being able to record in a simple seemless way. ie as i used to do with my old tv and I dont want to add a pvr onto the bv8 I have noticed that the set has a usb slot, which i was wondering if you could record straigt
