  • Re: Just my luck!!

This is sound advice and a super kind offer, Simon. I'll get in touch with the seller and let you know. Thanks again, Dragos :)

Oh, man. This is defiitely a conspiracy!!! Here is another one , but as I don't have the money (or need anything apart from the turntable), I can only watch in silence ... Grrr.... On the bright side, thanks to you, guys, I have finished restoring the ABR on one of my RL45 speakers. Even with my raher dodgy skill, it still sounds tons better than

True, I've seen a couple of silver 5500 in ebay UK in the last couple of months. I even considered (quite seriously) getting a 3300 instead (I really like its design (I mean it looks good to me in the photos) but then figured that perhaps I should hang on a bit more for a white 5500 to appear. It did, but a bit too far for my reach ;) Anyway, I'll

  • Just my luck!!

Hi, guys. This is typical: I get a super 5500 system in white last year without the turntable, spend the following 8 months looking for one, see one on ebay.de but as the seller didn't want anything less than 450EURO I'm afraid I need to let it slip, then this comes along. Looks good, sounds good (allegedly), but the seller won't ship to

Thanks a lot for this, my friend! You've just prevented me making a pretty expensive mistake... I was partly worried that I would have to spend money I don't have at the mo on active speakers, but I wasn't aware of the ML/MCL discrepancy, too. As I said, in my ideal world I would just need to connect the pc in the office to the systm and

  • X-tra active kit with beomaster 5500

Hi, everyone. I am looking for a way to get the music from my office computer all over the house. Would an X-tra active kit allow me to do that (I'm not too bothered about controlling it from downstairs - shuffle at a party would do it nicely)? Is it the case that if you have an X-tra active kit not only can you plug in local sources to listen to

Super, thank you so much for this, Graham (and thanks again for the X-Tra speaker kit ;))! I would only want the TV in the main room and the Beomaster 5500 running the show if that makes sense. It's not that big a house and I'm not a big fan of having lots of TVs around ... Coudl I operate the whole set-up from a Beolink 4 (comes with the TV

Yey! Result! I thought the Beomaster hadn't been enabled for multiroom use, but it seems to have been - I was just not pressing the right buttons (a bit hard given that I haven't got a Beolink 1000 either - but I'm on the lookout for one). So: it all seems to be working well and I'll be off to the delaership soon to ask about getting

  • beomaster 5500, x-tra speaker kit, service

Hi, everyone I've recently got a lovely MCL2A box and transceiver from e-bay as I'm thinking about wiring up a few rooms in my house... I'm a newbie but can learn fast, so please bear with me. I've connected the MCL2A to the 1st set of speaker sockets at the back of my Beomaster, hooked up some speakers to the MLC2A, pressed the transceiver
