During the last month I noticed that 2 different B&O stores here in Stockholm are giving big discounts on Beolab spekaers (20%). I'm usally get around 10% from my local dealer since I've been their customer since 15 years ago but have never seen a generall 20% off all speakers. Is something going on? a new priceing policy? new products coming

Hi all, I have listened to a Beolab 11 at my local dealer where he gave me a demo with a pair of Beolab l4's. In that setup, I could here a big difference but to be honest it was a rather nosiy day with lots of people around. I have also tried to find reviews on internet but the ones available are not proper reviews with different sound tests, etc

When my iPhone is docked to BS 8, if I play music i can see a green light. However, docking my iPad, it shows orange even when it's playing music. According to the handbook, it should turn green while playing and orange when paused/muted? It's really not a problem but I wonder if that is normal?

Interesting idea, lets hear more of them

Hi Mika, and thanks for your reply, You are of course right about the USB and the only possibility left would be to use a Powerlink to phono converter and use the analogue input. I also see what you mean about not beeing able to use the docks while using phono wiring (docked signal goes before the others). I will try to borrow a BL 11 from my dealer

I will most definitly not open up the BS 8. The rewiring will be done on either a seperate USB connection or the analog wire that connects to BS8. This will make both chanells on on each BS8 to either play left or right channell. As a reuslt, I will have a BS8 that only plays left chanell and and another that only plays right. The aim of connection

I got a pair of BL4000 for 10 years ago, I like them too but like the functionality of BS 8 more. Soundwise, I would say that the sound is perhaps not as loud but as crisp as BL 4000. I also imagin that, conceptually, BL 4000 as well as 6000 are getting old (not the case for BL 8000 which remains as cool as ever). Beolab 8000 however is not an option

sure but BL5 comes with a price tag of 20 BS 8's and is out of my budget range.

Hi all technical people I recently got my first beosound 8. I'm impressed by it's sound, the look, the ability to charge iphones and that it has it own DAC. Despite the nice sound of BS8, the left and right speaker channels are too close and perhaps doesn't present the stereo picture appropriately. However, I think it is possible to improve

I have purchased my first B&O TV, back in 1986. Like most of you, I have loved what these danish designers make but since few years back, I don't see what that previously wonderful and promising company aiming about the future of their product. I was so glad when i first heared of Beosound 5. The dissapointed came fast though when i realized
