Hi my Beoworld friends: Here Iam asking for your expert help and guidance, I just recently found a beolink1000 remote and I would like to know if it's possible to do the basic functions with the beomaster 5500, do I need some kind of special codes or do I just point and use? I've tried that but nothing works with it, I do have the MCP 5500 that

Ha,.. good point, I have a BeoMaster 5500 with BeoGram 5500 and thus the Master control, it is also paired with B&O pentas Passive MK1, the question is... every time I push a button in the master control I get this high pitch sound through the speakers for the first initial 3 to 5 seconds and then it goes away, specially if I try to lower or up

Ok guys here is another question that I hope you all can shed a beaming light, every function I attempt to do gives me a pitching sound through the speakers, any one have any idea what this might be?

I want to appologize to all you who replied to my plea,... I was absent for a while, it was indeed the needle, I bought a used one form ebay and I had great sound as soon as I pluged it in.... the question now is will I get a much better sound if I buy a new sound smith cartridge?

please help!! my turntable seems to work fine, it turns arm goes down but I get no sound out of it at all,... what cna it be and how do I know if I need a new needle?

Speakers are back from re-foaming, I noticed a craking noise when I turn on the BM5500 and a humming noise but then it goes away and they sound awasome, anyone here knows what is the crack nad humming comming from?, I'm trying to search on it but not getting much... please help

thank you for the replies guys, this ones are gray on the base and they have red & black standard connectors plus it came with a set of original speaker cables with a 4 pin connector, so are this the Boevox, or Beolab? and do you think it was a good purchase?
