• Re: Beosound 8 faulty

Thanks to everyone for answers. The capacitors makes sense, explains why it was half the mains voltage. It will be interesting what answer comes back from B&O.

  • Beosound 8 faulty

I am intrigued to know if anyone else has noticed on beosound 8. I got my new unit and noticed when I touched metal work on front of Beosound 8 it felt 'furry'. Being an electrical engineer I immediately thought electric shock. I turned power off and couldn't feel anything, on again and felt it again. I then measured with a meter and measured

  • Beo4 question on using list button

I have just purchased beo4, have been using beo5 up till then (which I live and use but my partner prefers the beo4). Question I have is I have programmed BV8-40 to have STB as DTV2, which is brought up by the Beo4 List button along with N Music, N Radio etc that I also have in my system. Keith thanks for response I am running 3.87 Not sure about deletion. I used DVT2 as that is what is defined on my BV8-40 for foxtel STB. When I went to start putting logos DVT2 was not available on the config tool Logo tab, only TVand nradio available. Interestingly DTV was not there either. In edit screen I copied channels button from TV to DTV2 submenu

  • Beo5 configuration question on channel screens

I have programed Beo5 (basic at the moment) and all works well. One question, I have Foxtel Cable STB and I have set up a number of channel pages/logos. I would like to have a "Info" button on each screen. The command is 0:000:VTR:CNTL_6 as I use PUC on BV8 for foxtel control. This command works on the sub menu page with other buttons for

  • Re: BS5/BM5 connection BV8
I assume you have connected the BM5 Dvi output to your BV8?
Sorry, should have given complete setup. BM5 component out to BV8 AV3. AV3 set for PC and beomaster 5 selected as the PC. Couldn't use DVI as the BV8 has only 2 HDMI (AV1 and 2) and both are in use. Have now replaced component cable with DVI (BM5)
