  • Re: Beosat help required.

Keith/Martin First of all can I thank you for your prompt response and apologise for not being clear in my original posting. I want to use an ODU90 with wiring etc and connect it to my Echostar 7000, the wiring looks a bit of a nightmare. I think there is a six (not five as I have suggested) core cable. What I would like to do is to use the existing

  • Beosat help required.

Hi Beopeeps I have had a look at the downloads available and haven't found much to help I am afraid. I am a proud owner of an Out Door Unit 90 (ODU90) and would like to plumb it into my B&O system. I know that the early stuff is only suitable to analogue and the later digital stuff is not that user friendly and not at all compatible with my

  • Re: Beolab 8000

Thanks guys, it hasn't helped me in the slightest in terms of getting the speakers fixed, but it has cheered me up. Spending shed loads at the menders won't seem so bad now (may be)... I thought the doctor was going to say "well don't do it then!" or "Nurse, no! I said remove his Spectacles"... ho hum

  • Beolab 8000

Dear all, In my attempt to bottom out the issues I have with my 'new' Pentas I decided to plug in my other 'new' babies (a sparkling pair of Beolab 8000s) well they worked so the effort to get my lights to come on in my Pentas continue. But, there always is one insn't there? one of my 'new' Beolab 8000s had a distinct lisp

  • Re: Turn on BeoLab Pentas?

My thoughts entirely, surely both amps wouldn't have the same fault and even if there was a problem they should light up red or yellow if there was a problem. Over the weekend I swaped them for my Beolab 8000, which will be my front speakers and they work, so I can assume the powerlink cables are ok and there is power, trouble is the Pentas are

Hmmm strange, my thought's entirely... Now if I were designing them I would have made sure that one of the sliding switches in the amp was an on/off switch as well. Then again if i was designing them they wouldn't be the flagship speaker they were or as sought after as they are. Now Anxiety really has set in :( Has any member had this problem

  • Turn on BeoLab Pentas?

Hi Beopeeps Sorry this is going to sound like a real thick question, but to save myself a week of anxiety not to mention the risk of damage taking these to the menders, but I was so lucky to secure myself a set of mark 3 Beo Lab Pentas and they do look the business! However, I was so busy at the weekend I didn't give myself a chance to plumb them
