I've been to the B&O homepage at least 10 times today, but the winner of the grand prize has not been announced yet...

As far as i know, the winner of the grand prize isn't drawn until 4th january 2008, and possibly not announced until 7th january.

I have deleted the automatic email they send out but I seem to be remember something that mentioned people have up to Jan 7th to do the competition. This is based on the fact that to win the grand prize (BV7-40) you have to have answered every single question for each day of the month up to and including the last day. Extending the comp till the 7th therefore gives everyone who may have missed a day to go back and submit an answer. In my case, I did them all anyway so its just a case of waiting. I am sure its the 7th of Jan.

The Grand Prize is drawn on January the 4th. I must have missed that before, only read it now...

Why o why did they not offer Beolab 5's, they are worth exactly the same...

How many people can fit a pair of Lab 5s in their living room? A TV is probably a safer bet!

Andy, you never cease to amaze me! You don't speak Spanish yet you obviously spend considerable time looking through their forums! Is this part of your daily BeoWorld exploration or was this an exercise solely to find out if anyone in ANY of the forums won a Star of the Day prize? You could be multilingual through this site in a couple of years!

Re: Star of the Day Celebration

    Ha!
I have always tried to follow the spanish forum and also quite often look at the dutch one too.
I used to drive my lorry through Spain every week for about two and a half years and have a soft spot for Spain and spaniards.
I would love to sell up and go to live in Spain, not to the places which are full of Sun readers and where a full english breakfast is the norm, but to real Spain, a village where I would be the only english person!
Doubt if it will ever happen though, as my house here is full of so many happy memories. I'll just have to be content with just reading the spanish fora.

2 days to go. Shall I start boxing my BV7-32 to make space for the BV7-40?

Good luck to all you Beoworlders.

I guess if one of us wins it, he has to donate it to Lee, so he can make it the first prize of the next Prize Draw...

Well I have spent the last 24 Hours joining in the critisism of the BV7-40 MKIII on other threads regarding its performance on SD versus its purchase price but since, If I do win, it will be free, I'll have no problem accepting it and making my own mind upBig Smile

Well Roger, you have been right, the winner was announced today, and it wasn't me! Indifferent

The man who won it is Winfried Gröger from Germany, I don't know/ think he is a beoworlder.
