tom: It seems that B&O thinks that CD are dead...
Well if that is the case Tom, I think they are very wrong. CD won't be around forever, but it's not dead yet.

Re: Star of the Day Celebration
Grand prize has to be a Beovision 7-40 Can't be a Beo5 as they are giving one away today and this is supposed to be grander. Andy T.

Re: Star of the Day Celebration
I agree with Andy T. I think if your follow the stars it shows a BL 7-1 underneath, too! If it is the prize thats about as good as it gets, except maybe a BV 9. I'm playing but I never win anything! Roger

A chap called Steve Bell from the UK won some A8's yesterday - Steve are you one of us? Chris.

Re: Star of the Day Celebration
Well, the first person from the UK has finally won in yesterday's draw. Wonder if they are a BeoWorlder? You never know. Anyone recognise the name? I am going to hazard a guess that the grand prize is a BV9 and if it is? WOW! What a great prize from B&O! Of course a BV-7 would be an amazing giveaway too! I am getting quite excited thinking about it to be honest. Better odds than the 14,000,000:1 lottery so thats a good start! Here's hoping! Simon.

Unless it's something we haven't seen before, it's a BV7.

Why not a (white) BV8? Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Hi Steven is my son in law, I persuaded him to enter and he won, sorry he's not (yet) a beoworlder. Brian

Re: Star of the Day Celebration
Today's star story, about the "pregnant B" logo, is kind of curious given that it's been dropped from the ads, where they're just writing BANG & OLUFSEN now. A white BeoVision 8? Where would I put it?

Re: Star of the Day Celebration
Don´t understand the weekly prize in the winner list!? It´s just the prize for the days 7, 14 and 21. If it was a weekly prize there should be another prize for these days and then one prize to anyone with a correct answer to a question from that week.
Beovision LX5500, BeoCord V6000, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 3500, BeoLab 2000, BeoVox1, BeoCom 6000, Form1, LightControl 1

Andy, do you have your own winner list? I can´t find a Beo5 on this winner list.

Re: Star of the Day Celebration
You are quite right Daniel. I was just testing you all Stupidly, I had assumed that as the star of the day was Beo5, that would also be the prize when in fact it was the A8 headphones. I can assure you though that the Grand prize is not a Beo5 Andy T.

http://bang-olufsen.att11.com/star/Calendar.aspx This definitely is not a Beo5. It's 32" or 40".

From the Star of the day (13/12): We wanted our first sub-woofer to provide maximum performance from a minimal size. .."

40", from what I can see on star 13, looks like the stand has a double pole, and since the 32" only has a single pole... Well when I win it, I'll post pictures
