Beovision 5 connection to motorised stand

    guys,

I have just acquired a BV 5 and motorised stand.  However, there is no cable to connect the two.  I rang up the local store here in HK and have been able to buy the connecting cable.  The problem is I can't seem to find the connection socket for the cable in the BV 5.  I have opened up the speaker grill but can't seem to locate where the cable should go.  Can anyone help?

Facing the BeoVision 5, on the right hand side just above the stand socket on the motorized floor stand, you will find 3 cut-outs in the cabinet: Locate the socket on the stand, then just above it (bottom edge of the BV5) find the 3 cut-outs in the MDF-frame. The cable is tucked away and can be located/retrived using your fingers.

    Roger,

Thanks for your reply.  However, as I mentioned above, I have opened up the speaker cover and still could not find the cable inside which is why I bought one.  The problem is I can't find the socket where the cable should plug into the BV5.

PCB 81 BUT I can't see where PCB 81 is placed on the chassis...

PCB 81 is connected to PCB80, and PCB 80 is connected to PCB 3.

As far as I know PCB80 and 81 are inside the motor stand.

The cable should fit to socket P458 (see picture below - somewhere in the
blue circle) on PCB3 (red square).
