Beosystem AV 9000 Problem - at least I could get the model correct - sorry!

I try again. When I try to start up the Beosystem AV 9000, I get the following error message:

    SW.1.10 error 1

on the lower display panel next to the video.

    Can anyone please help?

Has this worked previously?  Or is this the first time you set it up?

    Bonjour Anodyne1,

I've read you are located in Geneva, same as me Yes - thumbs up

I suppose you have already asked here: Choisy Radio-TV

They have a very good technical repair service which include all vintage B&O, TVs and HIFI, and they are not very expensive.

    Good luck.

    Salutations.

    Hi Neil,

Set has been working fine for the 3 years I have had it. Only thing I have noticed is that sometimes the sliding curtain on startup and stopping was occasionally a bit slower, but it always worked. Only thing I can think of is that if something is not actually faulty I may have wired it up incorrectly after a recent move.

    Best regards,

    anodyne1.

error 1 indicates a communication problem betweeen the monitor and the base unit - probably the short masterlink cable....
