I need some help wiring up an IR eye for my Beomedia 1. I have done a search and, whilst I can find wiring diagrams, none match what I need. I have a non HD Beovison 5, which unfortunately cannot control the BM1.

I have a spare eye from a project and it is similar to the top one in my diagram below. It's from an unused Beolink Passive - so will it work with my BM1 if wired correctly? I saw some info that not all B&O IR eyes are the same!

Mine has the connector block with 5 wires. I need to wire it to a mini jack as per the second diagram, but that is showing connector block with 8 wires so I'm confused.

Can anyone help.

Unfortunately that did not work. However I did a bit of trial and error and got it working. Here is the updated diagram for the BM1/ IR eye wiring.
