Hi folks,
some month ago I bought a Beosound Century. When it arrived it was so dirty, I had to disassemble it completly to clean it. There was dirt in every space you can think of. After cleaning and reassembling it, I have a mechanical problem with the clamper lifting up or down. The problem in detail is, that the clamper moves up or down, but on half of it's way there is a noise like some plastic crackling. The movement stops for a part of a second and then goes on. I inspected everything that could interrupt soft moving, but I found nothing. All moving parts have been re-greased after cleaning, so this shouldn't be a problem.
Does anybody have an idea what the problem might be ?
Anything else, like the door mechanism works like a charm.
Regards
Martin
