Could anyone advise if I am having a change of TV, same model etc, is there any modifications needed to be made within the ML Gateway. I am hoping for a straight exchange, without any changes to the rest of the system......

You don't say what TV you are talking about, but all B&O Masterlink products to be accessed to/from the Gateway must meet minimum software revision levels to work.

In short, the fact you are replacing the TV with the same model may or may not work depending on software revision level.

The model I the tv will determine.

It is relatively aimless to work the B&O program that accompanies the mlgw.

You'll just have to identify your new tele in the B&O software.

Its a BV7-55 standard, latest model, being upgraded to a BV7-55 3D TV, so all SW is latest...

 

I am hoping not to get a programmer in to interrogate the gateway if possible, just to swap over the TV's

If you have a computer you can do this on the gateway.

Its VERY simple.

If its easy, could you instruct me on how to do this, as I dont want the original guy back.....
