Beolink1000 paired with beomaster 5500 help!!!

Hi my Beoworld friends:

Here Iam asking for your expert help and guidance, I just recently found a beolink1000 remote and I would like to know if it's possible to do the basic functions with the beomaster 5500, do I need some kind of special codes or do I just point and use? I've tried that but nothing works with it, I do have the MCP 5500 that came with the system, but it's kind of bulky and would like to use the other remote instead...

It doesn't need anything special and works great with a BM5500.

Do you have a reason to be convinced that the Beolink 1000 actually transmits anything? Try looking at the sending end with a mobile phone camera while pressing a button...

I use the same combo. Sometimes I have to press the AV button on the Beolink 1000 mid-use to reconnect the two.

Beolink 1000 worked great with my 5500 system, almost all functions are accable with the BL1000 Smile
