When you have different artist with the same album name.... bijv greatest hits,very best of,Hit Singles etc etc

Then everything is mixed up,all the covers are wrong.

is this a bug?

Is B&O aware of this Sw problem.

That is not a bug. It actually is a change in the softeware more than a year ago. If you have an album containing many diffrent artist, it sorted them different under "album view". Now it sorts "album" only after album name.

I personally think that is better and there was a lot of complaints initally about this as fare as I recall.

Solution: don´t name the albums the same ie "greatest hits" but maybe "artist greatest hits".

I think you are not using "album view" with the covers displayed on the right side of display for selection? (I have danish language selected, so it might not be called "album view" when you can see the covers on the right side.

Song - Angie

Artist - The Rolling Stones

Album - The Greatest Hits

That's the way it should be (imho)

If I did it your way the artist showed 2 times when albums is selected

           The Rolling Stones Greatest Hits

I don't know how you correct the names on the albums, but i use BeoPlayer and correct everything in that. Taht way there is no problems with the way I name and sort the albums.

I have seen a lot of similar problems with other users that do not use BP, but different software, which migt end up with a different tagging?

Anybody that has same problems?
