What are the best loudspeaker with beosystem 7000? Recently beolab 6000 are ok or not?
You have a choice of either active or passive speakers with the BeoSystem 7000.. so take your pick!
What is your budget is the first question. Secondly (and just as important), what kind of music do you listen to - and at what volumes?
Once we have that info, the suggestions will come flooding in!
BeoWorld - Everything Bang & Olufsen
I listen to all kinds of music at high volumes. My budget is max 1000
I would get a pair of Pentas. I used a pair with my 7000 system for years and was very happy with them. They go loud, have plenty of bass and match the system. If being critical, they lack a bit of top end fizz and the bass is not as detailed as speakers with a big bass driver. Still have the Pentas though !
I would go for a pair of MS150. I am very privaliged to own the actual pair photographed in the link. They were extensively refurbished several years ago and sound sublime. The inbuilt subwoofers really do move a significant amount of air!
The only problem is they're like hen's teeth and will almost certainly need to be refurbed if they haven't been already.
I haven't actually heard a pair of 6000 but I have heard them described as "rubbish" (as main speakers) by someone whose judgement I trust!
Good luck!
Cheers
Nigel
I'd go for Penta's

I have used them with a 7000 system and MS150s work fine. They are however very big and I don't think even their mother would call them pretty!
