Hi fellow Beoworlders,
I have a slightly unusual request, and I'm hoping someone can help me..
I have an ST500 stand for an Overture. A picture is attached. My stand is missing the bit that sticks up on the top that stops your system from falling off if it gets knocked.
I contacted B&O, but there is no spare part available. If someone else has one of these stands, could they possibly measure the size if this 'bit' so that I can make one myself. I just need the width and the height it sticks out.
I'm guessing I could make one with a bit of dowel or similair?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Jonathan

The hole should be there ain't it, so you can measure the diameter. The length is pretty obvious as it sticks out for about 20mm?
B&O item 1, B&O item 2, B&O item 3,...................B&O item 735
Beovirus? What's that?

I can, but it's more the length above that I need... If it's too short, the system may still topple over. If it's too long the system may not sit flush..
I'd rather do it right the first time!!

I produced one from a uk radiator bleed tool - it was the correct diam and had a horizontal bar which needed shortening slightly - the length was also adjusted and eventually mounted on an mxstand - think i mail you pics, the ouveture is the mountedat about 45' to the fronyt edgw and the rotated to line up, the spiggot prevents the ouverture from being dislodged
If my workshop was up and running I'd make and send you one however currently thats another story

It looks a lot more than 20mm...
Am I the only one here who has one??? I know I could measure holes, but I'd rather have the actual measurement of the piece itself..

I have the thingy at home. I'll try to remember to measure it tonight.

I'll call my brother and ask if he can measure the one he's got.

Hi there - I have one of these left over from a BS3000 pole stand which had been used in conjunction with an STB BS4 conversion.
Being the squirrel that I am, I kept the top plate including locating lug which I am sure is the same part as above.
It's yours if you send me your address....
