    Beolink 1000 strange probelm

Having some problems with a MK4 BL1000. All of a sudden the volume will just go up on ity's own. It's not when I have used it and the button is sticking. It just happens. All I can do to stop it is remove the batteries. Sometimes it can take 5 mins for it to happen. other times it can be hours. It has had a new rubber keypad fitted, but I can't see this been the problem. When it's not turning itself up, the volume buttons work perfectly. any ideas appreciated.

Sounds like the actual circuit board (or the contact foil) need cleaning. Could be corrosion from a leaked battery or finger grease oozed through the rubber mat Ick!
