    Hello,

we're moving back from London go Germany and need to set the sound system back from "I" to ""B/G" ...

Does someone know how to do this on a rather aged MX 6000 ???

    Appreciate any hints!!!

    Thanks

Think it should be in the Menu - tuning area - if a multi standard tuner is fitted then an option with I should scroll thro the other tuner options if only I is available the the tv was country specific!

I recently moved an MX7000 to france and it had a multi standard tuner fitted which worked fine until June 8th when my area went digital - now use a cheapo Elap ultimo 2 box which has the advantage of a usb outlet to record to hdd - cost about 30€!

    salut

Bad news i'm afraid, there is no was to do this with the MX range of TVs.  In europe I think the MX range are either continental european (PAL B/G) or UK (PAL I) and it is a different tuner board between them.  I think the NICAM encoding is also different between the UK and the rest of europe.

    Some of my B&O: BV3/32, MX7000, MX5500, LX5500, MX4000, BM8000, BM6000, Overture, BL8000, BM6000 Quad, BM4400, BM3400, BG-CDX, BM3000, BM1001, BM1200, BM1600, BM1700, BM1500, BM1400, BM2400, BM2300, BM4500, BM4000, BVM70, BVS45-2, BVS60, BC7700, BM2200, BM1900, BG8002, BM1202, BVPenta, BVP45

I agree - with earlier tv's country specific however later tv's like mine has a multi tuner which covers  all  western european  counties - you may be lucky!
