    New functions in 3.59??

    I'm running 3.57 on my old xp laptop, beacuse my new Win7 64bit dosent support beo5 remote and software..

    Can 3.59 solve my problems?

    Hello Mads,

    short answer. No! Windows 7 does not support the 3.59-Version of Beo5 CT. It is the same Driver-Problem like in 3.57. The Beo5 will be not detected in 64bit-Versions.

    I had the same problem with Windows 7 but didn't want to run it on an older XP machine.  I got around it by downloading installing the Windows XP Mode for Windows 7.  Basically, it creates a virtual XP machine within your machine.  If the Virtual XP 'machine' crashes, it has no effect on your Windows 7 operations.

    The config software now runs flawlessy on my Window 7 64 bit machine.

    Hi MADSLP,

     

    I too run with Windows 7 64-bit and found that the BEO5 configuration program doesn't run under W7 64-bit.

     

    However, I did find a workaround. If you download the the WINXP mode for Windows 7 ( link http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx ) and install it, you will be able to run the program under W7. Do not forget , once the XP mode machine has started, to attach the BEO5 to the virtual machine. It works well on my setup.

    Thaks HansB, i worked also fine for me..

    Hi hansb, hi madslp,

    Please understand that I do not want to distribute software. Any distribution of the Beo5 CT 3.59 in this forum, would violate the B&O copyrights . So, It´s to dangerous sued by B&O. Please ask your favorite B&O dealer or wait a little bit. Some people are not so anxious like me and maybe they will upload CT 3.59 in www.

    So please, don´t be angry with me.

    PS: The Question was the support in Win7 64 bit and this problem is still not solved in Beo5 CT. I use a virtual XP under MacOS and it works fine.
