Beocenter 3500 / Beomaster 3000 Idle current trim pot

I've been given a Beocenter 3500 that i'm trying to get working as it should.

Someone's been in there before and replaced the idle current trimpot for the right channel with one of completely the wrong value, and hence that side is idling at 1 amp!

The original 250 ohm linear pot is not stocked at my usual sources, the nearest available is 200 ohm - would this be a good substitute?

Yes, 200 or 220 Ohm will be acceptable.

I can supply correct 250 ohm trimmers if everything else fails.

I'll bare that in mind if I can't get the 200 ohm trimmers to set the idle correctly.

How about a belt for the 3500's turntable?

You have a PM regarding belt.
