I have beolab 8000 speakers about 12 years old, they have been in for repair several times in their lifetime.

When I remove front grill and place my hand on the tweeters ( on either speaker ) there does not appear to be any vibration.

Are the tweeters blown and if so can I replace them myself or do I need to leave them with B&O.

Would very much appreciate advice.

Hi Patrick. You will know if they are blown, trust me! You should feel a very slight vibration I would have thought but because of the nature of the frequencies that tweeters produce, they don't have to move much air so you wouldn't feel a great deal of vibration, if any.
