You guys may need to watch the temperature of the BM5 when watching HD content.

This happens actually on my macbook air - it shuts pretty much down when this happens to avoid damage until it cooled off.

Not sure if BM5 has any sort of thermal management, it may not be a problem I would just recommend to touch that thing after watching HD for a bit.

You can´t use video ts. I use handbrake to converte the videofiles to avi files...it works every time.

Look at the reply from JK1002 about the temperature on the processor.

I have just installed DIVX7 and can now play AVI movies. However, I have decided to go to a Tvix M6600 instead and use this as the (movie) media streamer, for which it is meant. It plays almost everything in every format.
The BM5 will then work as my audiomaster, which also makes sense now for me now.
The kids can see movies in the living room from the Tvix, while we listen to N.MUSIC or N.RADIO in the kitchen from BM5.
My system keeps on developing.....
