Can somebody deliver some photos of upcoming BeoSound 5, I am sure there are photos already available.

Slightly unfair! There have been the above pictures on this site for some time. B&O have pulled out all the stops keeping this one secure. I can honestly say that I have not seen any pictures myself this time.

Aggree with Peter on this one. Beoworld is usually the first place to look imo, we were first with a picture of the Beo5 remote controller

Look at my report from the shareholders meeting, and you will see what pictures B&O officially have given free, it shows the general shape of the Beosound 5 and about 10% of it is fully visible.

There have to be pics at least at Beoworld. Last week info was posted about music transfer to BM5. These books from beo usaly contains drawings of the product. How come that someone has seen pics?

The book you are referring to (music transfer to BM5) does not contain any pics of the BeoSound 5, 

it merely has pics of the BeoConnect software. 

I don't really understand why B&O doesn't release any teasers,

the last teaser was from last Christmas (stars). 

I would have guessed that they would like to create a buzz around the BS5/BM5, 

which IMHO is usually started with some pictures of details and some basic "leaked" information. 

 

 

They are creating a buzz, by not giving away any information... It's been a month that we have been talking about it!

Agree, we ,as in people on BeoWorld, have been talking about it,

but the majority of the people that i know that own B&O products 

haven't heard/seen anything about it.

 

B&O will release pictures and have demo units in shop and you'll only be able to buy in the new year... so they will do just that.. but later than we want!

Frankly, I do not care much about a picture.

 

I want to know if there will be a 2 way remote. If they expect me to use Beo 4 or Beo 5  I would say they missed the boat. We haven't heard a single thing, besides "not to worry".

Not all of us use the site as a social networking site. Some like me are mainly here for the chance of a titbit of info. 

 

I have seen the Beosound 5 in the flesh today and spent some time having a play :-)

Without giving too much away, I will say that photos wont do it justice and it really is a great bit of kit. Definately a very B&O product, extremely simple and intuitive to use and very beautiful. 

They will be on demonstration in the stores from mid November so not long to wait now!

Titbits or unrealistic expectations?

Titbits is what you already have, believe me there is as much published about this on Beoworld as you would find anywhere on the web. Frankly it has all become a bit boring to me personally so I'll sit tight and wait for whatever happens next.

I too am getting bored with the wait now... and "anti-climax" feeling keeps creeping in..

That said.. all this secrecy can in turn become quite negative which may spoil the launch.. and makes people wonder wether or not BS5 is  up to scratch or still having problems which as we all know is a kind of expected with mk1s..

B&O have obviously drawn a viel of secrecy over the project to highten the excitement. An excellent ploy. Just look at you all, wetting yourselves just to get a glance at a picture.........grow up all of you ..........you are like small boys who cannot wait for Christmas!

I see it as a lot more serious than that. Probably due to lack of anything new for such a long time and not helped by the fact that the last bunch of new products were so bad it resulted in the CEO being fired. We are all hoping and praying that this is the product that saves B&O and prevents it from going over the edge.
