    No response Samsung H360R

    I have been changing my beo5-setup with the new 1.30-software.

    But now DTV (via Samsung H360R- receiver) isn't responding to the beo5 anymore... Not to the screen, nor to the hard buttons. The signals do work when switching to TV.

    Anyone recognize the problem / has a solution?

    I have just checked the details of the Samsung H360R template and it was added on 15th December 2007 in a previous update.

    When version 1.30 was released, the same template version as previously available was supplied, therefore your problem does not relate to the template itself assuming it previously worked.

    Did you re-create you configuration from scratch using version 1.30 or modify the existing configuration ?

    Made a hole new configuration with versio 1.30 Was that good or bad?

    When you dragged the STB from the list to the socket of the Beovision display in the product selection section of the tool, did you move it to the correct socket ?

    Yes, I did: in my case to AV3, and set it to DTV.

    Dose it work with beo4 remote? cut just be the Ir transmitter thats fallen off...

    Don't have a Beo4. But the sensor is allright....

    Doc,

    Given that the STB template in the Configuration Tool has not been changed for 1.30, then I think we must assume that a fault has occured other than you re-creating your configuration with version 1.30 unless you have made a mistake using the Configuration Tool.

    I would suggest the quickest way to prove the point is get a loan of a Beo4 and if the STB still does NOT work, then you have a fault NOT related to the Beo5 or version 1.30 software. On the other hand, if it does work we are sure there is something wrong with the configuration of your Beo5.

    STB wasn't in the PUC-list anymore.

    Now it's back in the PUC-list again: everything works just fine again!
