    Interlink cables for Beocenter 5000

I have just been given a beocenter 5000 but it is missing all the cables. I can see that they are roughly the same as standard DIN fittings but I have no idea if a standard/off the shelf cable is available or if I need to buy something special or make it up. I am completely comfortable with soldering fittings similar to this but i have now idea of what the conections should be or wether I can get the plugs easily. Can anyone help? I would love to get the system working. Thanks Dave

Congratulations on your freebie. You will be pleasantly surprised how good it sounds when you get it going!

The speaker cables are 2-pin DIN male at one end female at the other (assuing you have a set of B&O speakers), you can use the 5 pin DIN Tape in connector at the front to connect a CD Player, you can buy suitable RCA to DIN converter leads on eBay or from  Maplin relatively inexpensively, so there is no real need to make your own leads.

Thanks Simon. It is what I expected but the last thing I wanted to do was muck up the connections and blow it all up. Too sad to think about.Dave
