    iPod Compatability with Older System

I have a BeoSound system from like early to mid ninties. I am not sure of the exact model number, but it looks identical to the current BeoSound 3200.

Is there anyway I can hook up my iPod to this system? My dad gave it to me because he is upgrading, and I was hoping I wouldn't have to burn all my music onto CDs.

You could probably solder a 3,5mm to DIN and hook up your ipod. Or you could go advanced with; http://home.swipnet.se/ridax/ipod.htm

You need a din to stereo minijack cable and plug into the AUX port on the B&O

The cable Graham mentioned is available on ebay all the time. There are some clever docks available too, which allow you to hook up you pod to your hifi and tv. The soft ware in the dock allows you to navigate your ipod via remote on your tv in some really nice looking graphics. check out a company called DLO http://www.dlo.com/Products/homedoc_dx_Prod.tpl

If you use one of these docks you will need a Xover to din, which your dealer will help you with.

    Hope this helps

I'd get it from LifeStyle. Theirs are from the Danish manufacturer Bosscom. Perfect workmanship and quality and  a very nice price. Attach one end to your iPod and the other  to the AUX or TAPE ports of your unit. And you're set.
