    Hi Andy,

I tried this command with Beolink 1000 MKI and MKII and nothing happened.

    Re: Shift, Phono?

Andy, I have just tried it with a MK1. It does not do a thing. My BS3000 just stays in Standby.

    Wastes battery?

Although it does seem to put the BLink 1000 in a different mode. Not video mode or audio mode. Interesting...

Well the remote does do something, just not sure what. Just had a look using the camera on my mobile phone.

    Re: Shift, Phono?

You're on the right track Alex.
A little clue. Shift, Phono, followed by a number of one or two digits (up to 16) Takes three seconds to have an effect.
Peter should know, as should Keith Saunders, Keith (Frank Rizzo) and Craig after our recent communications.

    Re: Shift, Phono?

Andy, you have me totally lost. We were talking about using Shift, Link to operate an LC2. Just tried Shift, Phono and a number from 1 to 16. Nothing, although if it was for an LC2 you can only use 0 to 9 for the different light levels.

Do you need a Datalinked Beogram for this to work? If you do then that is why it does not do anything on my system.

    Re: Shift, Phono?

Is it CD2? You have this on a Beo4, and Shift, CD on a BL1000 is DVD.

When you look at the end of a remote through you mobile phone camera you can see it light up, the camera can see the IR beams.

Got it, that is how you select which pair of speakers you want to listen to. If I remember correctly you connect up to 16 pairs of speakers.
